This Privacy Policy explains how Vioneapp LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), operating Read Aloud Reader, collects, uses, and protects information when you use readaloudreader.com.

2. Information We Collect

Text you submit is used solely to generate audio and is not stored. Generated audio may be temporarily cached. We use SHA-256 hashed IP addresses for daily rate limiting (reset midnight UTC).

3. How We Use Information

To generate text-to-speech audio, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and monitor aggregate usage. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

4. Third-Party Services

OpenAI provides text-to-speech generation. Supabase provides backend infrastructure. We do not sell or trade your information.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Local storage may be used for theme preferences only.

6. Data Retention

Text content is not retained. Audio cache up to 30 days. Rate limiting data resets daily at midnight UTC.

7. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS).
